Biodiversity and ecological restoration
We are working on the conservation of biodiversity and ecological restoration in our spaces or in nearby spaces, thus contributing to the global challenge of halting the loss of biodiversity and restoring ecological processes where they have been lost or degraded.
The biodiversity recovery actions are only possible if they receive the most amount of support possible from society.
For this reason, continuous provision of information and education is necessary, which we carry out through our MónNatura Pirineus and MónNatura Delta centres. With the LIFE Green project (2022-2023) we are further strengthening this work to raise public awareness, aligned with the objectives of the European Green Deal. And, as a major event in favour of biodiversity, every year at MónNatura Delta, we organise the Delta Birding Festival, which is one of the most important festivals in southern Europe dedicated to bird watching and nature.
