The Catalunya La Pedrera Foundation promotes the Dementia Friendly decalogue at local schools

The Catalunya La Pedrera Foundation is joining the actions to commemorate World Alzheimer Day by designing an activity to raise Catalan students’ awareness of how persons with memory deficits want to be treated.

This activity shared the 10 points in the Dementia Friendly decalogue of the Catalunya La Pedrera Foundation with the first 694 participating students, which will enable them to reflect on and raise their awareness of individuals with dementia or memory deficits and become mindful of how they would like to be treated.

This activity was held for the first time on 20 September during class time at the first 16 schools that signed up, and it included participants in the REMS Programme.
