La Closa de Mornau

This area is an ideal habitat for rare species like the European roller and the more common white stork, as well as for many migratory and wintering birds, including shorebirds, the black stork and birds of prey like the rare greater spotted eagle. Indeed, this is one of the few sites on the entire Iberian Peninsula where this latter species can regularly be found.

The Foundation acquired this strategically located space to guarantee the preservation of the natural values of the entire area.
