Scientific vocations
We offer extraordinary opportunities for talented young students with a keen interest in science. Immersive experiences in real research: motivating, inspiring and relevant to guide their academic and professional careers.
Science moves the world forward
and you are the future!
Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera offers several programs of excellence to promote scientific vocations and talent among young students, through hands-on experiences in real environments in Research Centers, Hospitals, Universities and together with leading professionals.
In this way, we contribute to training future generations of scientists who are better prepared to contribute actively to solve the great challenges of our world.
We work with passion to promote not only scientific knowledge, but also critical thinking, curiosity, creativity, innovation and empowerment.
We take advantage of the Foundation's potential, knowledge and accumulated and available experience in various fields, and the alliances with leading institutions and people.

Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera collaborates with various national and international institutions. If you work at a research center, hospital, or university and are interested in collaborating with us, you can contact us at ciencia@fclp.cat for specific inquiries and/or collaboration proposals.
In addition, collaboration with schools and secondary schools is very important, as it helps us raise awareness of the programs to boost scientific vocations, as well as identify different talents. We run the Ambaixadors de la Ciència (Science Ambassadors) program to bring young scientific role models into classrooms. You can contact us at fellows@fcatalunyalapedrera.com for more information.
The Science Fellows Community of Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera is a network that brings together and connects people who have taken part in the Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera's programs to boost scientific vocations.
Joining the Science Fellows Community is free; the only requirement is having participated in one of Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera's programs to boost scientific vocations. And it's all upside:
- The community's goal is to facilitate interaction, contact, and collaboration among Fellows: talented young people with a strong interest in science, technology, and research who share a passion for discovery.
- The Science Fellows Community promotes ongoing training, mentorship, and shared opportunities and projects among people from different fields of science and at different stages of their academic and professional careers, whether within the community or in collaboration with the Foundation, as well as this group's active involvement and support in activities carried out by the Foundation.
- It also serves as a platform to share the Fellows' passion for science with our society.
