Talents Jazz a La Pedrera

The Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC) is the only public center in Catalonia that grants degrees in higher artistic education in Music and masters in artistic education, inserted in the European Higher Education Area (EEES).

The Liceu Conservatory Foundation is a non-profit cultural and pedagogical institution created by social initiative and with public service vocation. It continues the activity started in 1837 with the Barcelona’s Philharmonic and Dramatic Lyceum of Montesión. Its purpose is to serve the society through teaching, artistic expression, and knowledge transfer. Always with the firm conviction that music contributes to human, etic and social progress.

Taller de Músics is a breeding ground of artistic activity, though it is also a creative laboratory, an agent of social dynamism and cultural agitation, and a musical institution of international reference. Taller de Músics is much more than a pioneering school in the dissemination of jazz, flamenco and modern popular music. In its more than 40 years of history, it has built up its own system of education, creation, production and dissemination of music. In the field of education, it is a unique and integral project of artistic accompaniment that consists of art, creativity, spontaneity and illusion accompanying our students on their paths from the classroom to stage. We welcome current and future artists who aspire to become professionals as well as those who choose to combine music with their daily lives.
