Science Ambassadors

Science Ambassadors is a program by the Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera aimed at inspiring students in 4th year of ESO and 1st year of Baccalaureate who are interested in science, and at showcasing opportunities to promote scientific and technological vocations.

To make this possible, we collaborate with the Science Fellows Community: young people passionate about science who, even during high school, wanted to go beyond what the classroom offered and took part in the programs of the Catalunya La Pedrera Foundation.

Now, these Fellows return to classrooms in schools across Catalonia as Science Ambassadors, to share their experiences, journeys, and motivations, becoming relatable role models who can spark new vocations and help guide other students’ futures.

All educational centers in Catalonia are welcome to participate. The talks for this edition will take place in November.

This initiative has already been a great success in previous editions:

• More than 200 schools involved
• Around 100 Fellows participated
• Very positive feedback from students and teachers, highlighting the motivation and inspiration generated
