
Isabel Díez Santos
Postdoctoral researcher at the Earlham Institute (United Kingdom), where she studies DNA replication using sequencing techniques. She completed her PhD on antibiotic resistance mechanisms at the John Innes Center (United Kingdom). She has also carried out research projects on lysozyme resistance mechanisms at the University of Sheffield (United Kingdom), on yeast division at the Institute of Functional Biology and Genomics (Salamanca), and on environmental biotechnology at the University of Burgos. She studied a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology at the University of Salamanca and a Master's degree in Molecular Medicine at the University of Sheffield. She has designed and conducted scientific projects at the University of Pwani (Kenya) and at the International Research School (Russia). She has also collaborated in the last three editions of Youth and Science.
