Preparing Tancada lagoon bird observatory, in Ebro Delta - 22/10/2022

We invite volunteers who want to help to paint with linseed oil the bird observatory of the La Tancada lagoon, a privileged place for bird watching located between the lagoon and the Bay of Alfaques. Flaxseed oil helps to give wood flexibility and protects it against climatic agents.

Tancada wetlands observatory was built as part of the LIFE Deltalagoon European project. It is a space prepared to welcome visitors who want to stop to observe and enjoy the wide landscapes of wetlands and salt marshes together with their associated birdlife: flamingos, seagulls, terns and waders of various species.

Program of the working day:

9:30h Meeting at MónNatura Delta

9:30h-10:00h Welcome, explanation of the environment and transportation by foot to the observatory. 

10-13.30h Developement of the activity.
