
Aitor Ameztegui González
Forestry Engineer with a degree from the University of Valladolid (2003) and a further degree in Forest Engineering (2007) from the University of Lleida. In 2010 he completed a Research Master's in Forestry Products and Systems, and in 2013 he completed a PhD in Forest Sciences from the University of Lleida. After completing his Doctoral Thesis at the Forestry Sciences Centre of Catalonia (CTFC), she completed a postdoctoral exchange at the Université du Québec in Montreal (Canada) between 2013 and 2015. He worked as a postdoctoral researcher (Juan de la Cierva Formación) at CREAF, and is currently a lecturer and researcher at the University of Lleida, and an associate researcher at CTFC. His research aims to improve knowledge on how forests respond to a range of environmental changes, and to define the role of forest management in the future dynamics of forest ecosystems.
