Topromi wins second prize in the contest to design the image of the International Day of Disabled Persons

The contest, which was sponsored by the Municipal Institute of Persons with Disabilities of the Barcelona Town Hall, received a total of 28 proposals.

The proposal called “Inevitable” by the Creative and Design Studio of the Topromi Foundation and El Far Cooperative won second prize at the Ideas Contest to design the image of the International Day of Disabled Persons held by the Barcelona Town Hall.

The poster submitted showcases the value of the abilities that people have 365 days a year and shows diverse people from different races, genders, ages, etc. These people express their feelings in a transparent, open way, without prejudices and without stigmas.

The Creative and Design Studio

The Studio is an initiative of the Topromi Foundation (of the Catalunya La Pedrera Foundation) and El Far Cooperative which merges graphic design with social transformation, since it fosters the original thinking and expression of persons with functional diversity.

Designing allows individuals with functional diversity to share their own perspective on things, give them a voice and make them an active part of society as a way of fostering change and the social transformation needed.
