For the third consecutive year, the Neurology Service of Althaia is promoting an awareness and dissemination event on the occasion of World Parkinson's Day, which is commemorated every April 11, with the aim of supporting affected people and their environment, as well as promoting knowledge about the disease.
At the Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera, our goal is to improve the quality of life and emotional well-being of older people with mild and moderate cognitive impairment (in the early stages of Alzheimer's and other dementias, with Parkinson's or other movement disorders, etc.), so that they can maintain their abilities and autonomy for as long as possible. We also offer support and information to families.
