The Foundation is launching Science Academy, a new training project that responds to the challenges of a new era

Science Academy was born today, the new training project of Catalunya La Pedrera Foundation.  History has shown us that science moves the world, and now is the moment to bet on stimulating scientific vocations among the youngest, to promote and disseminate science and to innovate in education.

Science Academy offers a huge variety of scientific programs that answer  respond to the challenges of a new era, promoting the critical spirit, curiosity, creativity, innovation and also the empowerment of thousands of girls, boys, young people and professionals from Catalonia and from around the world in order to become the instigators of change that we are expecting with the capacity to improve the world and move towards sustainable development.

The objective of this new training project is to stimulate the scientific vocations among the youngest and to promote knowledge different fields of science, always accompanied by values, personal skills and commitment to society and the common good.

Science Academy brings together top-level projects that Catalunya La Pedrera Foundation has been organizing for years, such as Youth and Science, BIYSC, Nature Campus and Mad for Science, and includes new training initiatives of excellence, based on the www.youaccumulated experience in different areas of expertise acquired o through years of team work using with huge extensive skills in knowledge and management of educational, scientific l, territorial, environmental, cultural, social, communication and social support projects.
