Millennial olive trees of the Arion
The Arion offers a humanised landscape where time seems to have stopped for hundreds of years. Only the phenomenal perimeter of the trunks of olive trees and their twisted shapes confirm that this has not been the case. Some specimens were planted during the Middle Ages, and they continue in their place unperturbed, as if nothing had happened.

The Arion estate is located southwest of the Godall Range, on its northern slope. This mountain range is a horst (elevated block around it) made up of Mesozoic sedimentary material and that is part of the Catalan Coastal Range at its southern end. The Arion estate is at the foot of this terrain, where there is a change in the slope that has led to the accumulation of detrital material consisting of clays, sands and gravels from the Neogene age, and which has been accumulating at the foot of this terrain by the action of erosive forces.
