Professor of the Department of Animal Biology at the Faculty of Biology of the University of Barcelona since 1992. In collaboration with other authors, he has recently published the Guide to Heteroptera of Catalonia, and previously the Catalog of Heteroptera of Catalonia. conservation measures in Catalonia ”and the“ Red Book of Threatened Invertebrates of Spain ”. Participates in the BioBlizBcn conference since its inception, where it has the collaboration of young undergraduates, graduates and pre-doctoral students in Biology.

Participating in the bioBliz gives a social and informative dimension to your teaching vocation, in a natural environment that stimulates the most personal contact with the attendees. Each bioBliz is different, nature changes and the people involved change. Therefore, it is a challenge to increase interest in arthropods, to value them as fundamental members of the biosphere and to enjoy them in their environment.
