Mentoring program

The difficult situation resulting from the global impact of the coronavirus led the Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera to cancel the 2020 edition of the three phases of the ‘Joves i Ciència’ (youth and science) program.

This activity offered the opportunity to the most senior Fellows to act as mentors for the students of the ‘Joves i Ciència’ (youth and science) program who were not able to enjoy the program that year. The mentors shared their experience, advising and guiding them in both academic and personal aspects, from June to December 2020. The program also offered training sessions in ways to support others for the mentors so they could apply knowledge during mentoring sessions with students.
