  3. Jam Science Barcelona Biennal Ciutat i Ciència

Jam Science Barcelona was a science, music and entertainment event organized by six young Fellows with success stories and unique scientific and personal trajectories. They talked about what their path has been like to dedicate their careers to scientific research, as well as their hobbies and interests that have contributed to build the people they have become. From a computer engineer who draws comics to a high school student who won a NASA award. Jam Science Barcelona was about science, but above all it was about the people who make it possible!

Given Barcelona’s City and Science Biennial, organized by the Institute of Culture of the Barcelona City Council (ICUB), we organized Jam Science Barcelona, aimed at ESO students to motivate young people of Catalonia in science and research. The activity was divided into two parts. The first part took shape as a show, Jam Science Barcelona itself, while the second part consisted in a space where the attending students were able to approach the main characters of the show, talk to them and exchange experiences and worries about the future.
