
Adrià Miralles
He has a degree in Environmental Biology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and a Master’s in Biodiversity Management from the University of Granada, specializing in the study of insects. He has worked in butterfly and climate change research in the Sierra Nevada and Sierra de Guadarrama National Parks.
He is currently in charge of the Entomology Department of a pest control company that specializes in sustainable management. He has published several articles on insects, especially dragonflies and wildlife in underground environments, although he has also recently focused on the study of exotic and invasive species. A self-taught photographer specializing in macro photography since 2009, he has published several photographs of arthropods in the media and in the press, as well as in national and international scientific journals. He is actively involved in the dissemination of nature, whether through social media, virtual citizen science platforms or the creation of BioBlitzs.
